This revised Trading Terms will take effect on April 1, 2021 and will remain in effect until further notice. It is the Operator’s/Agent’s responsibility to ensure that our most updated Trading Terms is read and understood before making any bookings. We will do our best to circulate the most updated Trading Terms via email, but for cases where a copy is not on hand, Operators/Agents can check our latest Trading Terms version in effect on our website.
Rates are quoted in USD per person per night, inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of park or conservancy fees, concession or camping fees, and Tanzanian Tourism Development Levy. The rates are NET of all transfer charges; kindly include the charges when making payment. Rates are confidential, non-commissionable and are non-transferable. Operators must respect all contract rates and failure to quote or sell at rack rate may result in the revocation of any rate and this agreement will be considered null and void. In the event of increase in costs or taxes, we reserve the right to review published rates without prior notice for future bookings. Flight costs, specifically, are subject to change as a result of fuel surcharges imposed by aviation companies.
We have done our utmost to standardize these trading terms, however, should there be any changes made to any of these terms, specifically relating to a third party supplier, the client will be notified at the time of booking or at the time that the change is imposed.
Accommodation, all meals, soft drinks, beers, a selection of premium wines, sparkling wines, spirits and a large selection of cocktails made of premium alcohol, 2 daily game drives, return Seronera airstrip transfers, laundry service, and WiFi.
On their scheduled day of arrival, guests are welcome to arrive from 12h00 onwards with check-in ordinarily available from 13h00 onwards (subject to no unforeseen circumstances). Check-out is at 10h00.
Late checkout is possible if availability permits, but must be confirmed by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS. Ordinarily, late checkout is at 13h00. All the inclusions and exclusions of the respective package booked shall apply until 13h00. Subject to availability, access to the guest villas can be extended up to 16:30 depending on the arrival time of the incoming guests, and can be extended at the discretion of the Property Manager. Exclusive of the additional park or conservancy fees that may be applicable due to late checkout, and provided that all conditions permit, the charges for late checkout are as follows:
During Mid Season:
For Full Board Guests, the charge for late checkout is USD 200 per guest. For Game Package Guests, the charge is USD 250 per guest.
During High Season:
For Full Board Guests, the charge for late checkout is USD 350 per guest. For Game Package Guests, the charge is USD 400 per guest.
When travelling with one full paying twin/double room, no single supplement is charged for a maximum of 1 room per party travelling. For all other single rooms, a 50% supplement on normal rate applies.
A daybed can be added to the room for an additional adult or child rate respectively.
The luxury family villa is ideal for families. It consists of tw o en-suite bedrooms with an inter-leading lounge. When travelling with at least one child, the luxury family villa can be booked. Exceptions to this condition can be sought. For exclusive property use booking, this condition does not apply and the luxury family villa can be occupied as required by the group.
The terms below apply when booking 5 luxury villas or less:
From 11 January to 20 December a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required within 14 days to confirm the provisional booking. Full and final payment must be received by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS no later than 60 days prior to arrival. Any reservations made within 60 days of travel require immediate full payment to confirm the booking.
From 21 December to 10 January, or Festive Season, a minimum stay of two nights is required, and a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required within 7 days to confirm the provisional booking. Full and final payment must be received by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS no later than 120 days prior to arrival. Any Festive Season reservations made within 120 days of travel require immediate full payment to confirm the booking.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and will only be considered as confirmed upon receipt of written notification from ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS.
In the event of any confirmed booking being cancelled, the following cancellation fees will be charged:
For 11 January to 20 December bookings:
Confirmation of booking to 61 days prior to arrival — the 25% deposit is forfeited;
Between 60 days and day of arrival — 100% of the full invoice value is charged as a cancellation fee.
For Festive Season (21 December to 10 January) bookings:
Confirmation of booking to 121 days prior to arrival — the 50% deposit is forfeited;
Between 120 days and day of arrival — 100% of the full invoice value is charged as a cancellation fee.
Local or International tour leaders/guides can opt for accommodation in one of the dedicated guide rooms located near the staff village, and will be charged USD 10 per night or USD 100 per night respectively. This only includes meals in the staff village. For accommodation in guide room and meals only with guests an additional charge of USD 200 per night will apply instead.
If 6 luxury villas or more are booked, then this is considered to be a Group Booking and conditions related to group bookings are applicable.
From 11 January to 20 December a deposit of 50% is required within 14 days to confirm the provisional booking. Full and final payment must be received by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS no later than 90 days prior to arrival. Any reservations made within 90 days of travel require immediate full payment to confirm the booking.
From 21 December to 10 January, or Festive Season, a minimum stay of two nights is required, and a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required within 7 days to confirm the provisional booking. Full and final payment must be received by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS no later than 120 days prior to arrival. Any Festive Season reservations made within 120 days of travel require immediate full payment to confirm the booking.
In the event that payment to confirm a provisional booking was not made within the above stipulated times, ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS will automatically cancel the reservation made by the Operator.
Confirmation of booking to 121 days prior to arrival — the 50% deposit is entirely forfeited; Between 120 days and day of arrival — 100% of the invoice value is charged as a cancellation fee.
If a ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS property is booked exclusively during Midseason, for a minimum of 30 guests, then a 5% discount will be applied over and above any accommodation rate or special offer. During high season; if a group requires 12 rooms or more or includes 24 guests or more, then exclusive use of the property is obligatory and no discount will apply (family villa equates to 2 rooms). Rooms that are not occupied by guests will be charged at the high season adult rate but no single supplement will be added.
A maximum of 1 room (single or twin occupancy) will be made available at a rate of Rack less 50% for a maximum of 1 night. Standard FIT payment and cancellation policies apply. The value of the site inspection will be credited against a subsequent, confirmed group invoice. Any additional site inspections will be charged at Rack rate.
The below section is entirely subject to availability. A private vehicle and guide can be booked at a rate of USD 550 per day (for mid and high seasons) and USD 700 per day (for festive season). The One Nature fleet includes two types of vehicles, our open luxury game viewer (seats up to 5 guests) and our semi-open luxury game viewer (seats up to 7 guests). If the property is unable to provide a private vehicle and guide, then the payment will be refunded. Every group of 4 to 5 game package guests are guaranteed 1 private luxury game viewer free of charge. A group of 6 to 7 guests will be required to use our 7-seater semi-open luxury game viewer. If a group does not meet the 4 to 5 guest per game viewer count, however requires only fully open luxury game viewers, they can do so by booking an additional private game viewer for the above mentioned daily rate.
Guests accompanied by a 3rd party guide, translator, tour leader or foreign language guide are required to book and pay for a private vehicle. Exceptions are made for the vehicles that are occupied by 4 full paying guests booking the 5-seater open game viewer, and vehicles occupied by 6 guests for the 7-seater semi-open game viewer.
Resident rates can only be booked within 14 days of the arrival date and is subject to availability. A local Tanzanian identification document or residency permit must be presented at the time of booking.
All people travelling to, or undertake a tour, with ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS, are required to have comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover travel cancellation, medical expenses or loss of personal baggage or items. Guests staying at a ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS property can apply for a medical emergency evacuation registration for an additional USD 30 per person per stay. It is the Guests’ responsibility to ensure that they have sufficient medical and travel insurance cover in place to cover in-hospital medical expenses and any associated costs once admitted to hospital.
Operator must advise guests travelling to ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS properties that are situated in countries that require Yellow Fever vaccination. Operator must inform the guests that they may be required to produce their Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate when entering the country. Operator should advise guests to consult their medical practitioner as early as possible.
The Operator must advise guests of all other health risks such as malaria risk for guests travelling to ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS properties that are situated in malaria prone areas, and advise the guests to consult their medical practitioner as early as possible.
ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS subcontract the flying services to independent aviation operators. The routing of the flight is always decided by the aviation company and could result in a series of intermediate stops on the way to the final destination. ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS cannot be held responsible for any delays or additional costs incurred as a result of airlines not running to schedule.
No indulgence, extension of time, granted by ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS to the Operator shall constitute a waiver of or, whether by estoppel or otherwise, limit any of the existing or future rights of ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS, or stop ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS from enforcing strict and punctual compliance with any of the provisions or conditions in our trading terms. Save in the event or to the extent that ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS have signed a written document expressly waiving or limiting such rights.
Subject to the ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS terms and conditions, ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS will not be liable for any damages suffered by any guest due to any misrepresentation by Operator or Operator employees. Operator must advise guests travelling to ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS properties of the relevant country visa and health requirements.
Operator brochure copy and layout related to One Nature must be approved prior to circulation. If approval was not granted, One Nature will not be responsible for any losses and any related losses that may result from destroyed marketing material, printing cancellation or the cancellation of any related items.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform any of its obligations under this agreement, in so far as the performance of such obligation is prevented by a force majeure event.
Each party shall notify the other party of the occurrence of such a force majeure event and shall use all reasonable endeavors to continue to perform its obligations herein for the duration of such a force majeure event.
However, if any such force majeure event prevents a party from performing all its obligations hereunder for more than one (1) month, then the other party may terminate this agreement by notice in writing.
For the purposes of this agreement, a force majeure event means any event, which is beyond the reasonable control of the party liable to affect performance, and shall include but is not limited to acts of God, riots, acts of war, and acts of terrorism, industrial dispute, epidemics, fire, and natural disasters.
Acceptance of a quote from ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS by the payment of the associated deposit or balance invoice constitutes consent to all provisions of the conditions in our trading terms irrespective if the trading terms are signed or not.
The terms under which the client agrees to these itineraries cannot be changed or amended except in writing signed by an authorized Director of ONE NATURE HOTELS and RESORTS.
